Benefit Auction Specialist – Patrick Siver is valued by clients for being an excellent auctioneer but also as a highly experienced event planner. Patrick enjoys using his talents and expertise to positively impact the nonprofits he serves. Patrick’s interpersonal skills coupled with his diverse background and knowledge make him a powerful asset as the Everything Gala Event Management Director.
For over thirty-five years, Patrick has been responsible for all aspects of producing special events. Patrick’s involvement traditionally begins with design of an event through budgeting, revenue generation, volunteer management, vendor acquisition, to event execution and post event analysis. Patrick has been involved with an array of events including USGA national championships, PGA TOUR sanctioned events on the Korn Ferry Tour, made-for-television golf tournaments, corporate philanthropy events and fundraising galas throughout the United States.
In 2012, Patrick attended World Wide College of Auctioneering to add fundraising services for his nonprofit clients. Auctioneering combined with his event planning experience became a tremendous resource for nonprofit clients. Patrick designed his practice to assist with design to execution, including being on stage as his client’s ambassador and auctioneer. Patrick holds the Benefit Auction Specialist Designation (BAS) and graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Economics. Patrick uses his honed skills in event management, auctioneering and data analysis to create dynamic strategies. For him, every event is unique, and he designs events to be a custom fit for each organization. Clients consistently comment on how Patrick streamlines their processes and finds hidden opportunities to help them exceed their goals & expectations.
Patrick was one of the first auctioneers nationally to embrace livestreaming in 2020 during the pandemic. Patrick designed several formats to allow nonprofits to continue fundraising during this challenging period. His experience during the prolonged quarantine piqued his interest in benefit auction software platforms. He became proficient in Auctria and has conducted multiple webinars for the Auctria platform to share his insight and experience. If needed, he serves as an administrator for his client’s Auctria accounts, helping them to maximize fundraising features. Patrick is continually monitoring the current trends and best practices of the fundraising profession.
Patrick’s home base is in Beaverton, Oregon and is the proud father of two adult sons. He enjoys traveling nationwide as well as spending time with his two chocolate labs, Duke & Meatball. Patrick remains true to his rich golf background by serving on the Oregon Golf Association Executive Committee and The Children’s Course | First Tee Oregon Board of Directors.
