Frances Fripp

Everything Gala Canada Representative, Auctioneer Provincial Grand Champion Auctioneer – Frances Fripp is a distinguished Canadian auctioneer, with nearly two decades of expertise. Her charismatic style makes an impact with each client and every auction. In her position as the Canadian Representative for Everything Gala, Frances is focused on relationship building for the development and expansion of fundraising auctions in Canada.

As a prominent figure in Canadian fundraising auctions, Frances conducts events primarily in Toronto and the GTA. In her role as an industry leader, Frances is a 2020 Provincial Champion Auctioneer. In 2017, she was awarded the Bob Steffes Rising Star Award during the International Auctioneer Championship and placed first runner up in 2023. She is a Past President of the Ontario Auctioneer’s Association, having served two terms. She currently serves as the Ambassador for Canada for the National Auction Association. Her dedication to excellence combined with her personable approach has earned Frances a trustworthy reputation with clients as well as colleagues.

Frances creates connections on and off the auction stage. From the first meeting with a potential client to the recap, she can see the bigger picture with the event goals. Currently, Frances is the only Benefit Auctioneer Specialist in Canada. She is also an AMM graduate, a certification centered on marketing, brand development, and utilizing data to reach specific audiences.

As a consultant, Frances knows how to find areas of opportunity and how to maximize existing best practices. She works with clients to not only raise funds but to also brand their event to raise awareness for their mission. Frances believes that a well-designed auction goes beyond fundraising. As a highly skilled communicator and bid caller, Frances knows how to capture an audience and shift the attention of a room. At the post-debrief, clients often comment on how Frances and her team took the fundraising event to the next level. As a dynamic keynote speaker, Frances has also inspired audiences in Canada and the United States.

Frances is based out of Ontario, Canada and is the owner of Fripp Auctions. Along with her husband and two young sons, their family priority is to focus on quality time while creating memories. Francis approaches everything she does with purpose and heart. She believes there is great truth in the quote, “Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
